Untrue, but they are disposed to becoming agitated and this may be frightening. Patients are victims of sensationalized media reports: schizophrenic individuals are constantly out of control. During a psychotic episode, their grasp of reality is tenuous with thoughts and feelings having a life of their own, independent of the external world. Not always a psychotic episode the insane are not always insane : schizophrenia is biologically inevitable.
