Class struggle: history can be viewed as class struggles, working class was being oppressed by capitalists. Oppression: oppression by the bourgeoise against the proletariat. Proletariat revolt: proletariat will revolt causing a classless society. Goals: seeks to expose the contradiction of capitalism, marxism offers a way toward achieving communist society, price for labour of the worker is determined by the free market. Labour is often devalued or artificially devalued leading to low wages: communist in which the means of production are controlled by the state.
