The origin and the development of organized youth sport. When are kids ready to play organized competitive sports. How do social factors influence youth sport experience/ Trends in children sports and recommendations for change. Organized youth sports emerged in the 20th century. Led to many people to organize the way their kids grew up. Organization involved sports for boys hoped that team sport would teach boys to work together productively, and for immigration children to have na values. Social problem were labeled; increase of industrialization and urbanization of cities, compulsory secondary education unemployed working class youth. Sports programmers were organized to occupy their leisure time. Organized sports hoped that sports turned boys into tough competitive men, became leaders in business, government and the professions.
