Access very high care vs relative low need to the rest of the world. Impoverishing(ultimate iatrogenesis): accessing care is economically detrimental - > getting care makes them poor. Many people still pay at the point of service. 60% of usa bankruptcy is from health care issues and become insolvent. Fragmented: w/ biomedical model of care - > high specialization. Looks at very isolated parts and not whole health. Discourages seeing a person holistically and encourages seeing people as one area of problems. We could reallocate resources towards gp vs specialists to make them more adept. Look at more than just one thing : wheel vs car. Unsafe(getting sick trying to get well): contract an illness or have an injury from receiving care.
