Population increased unevenly between less-developed and developed areas. How such processes link to the broader environment of which humans are a part. The three factors on which all changes in population size depend on are fertility, mortality and migration. Future population = current population + births - deaths + immigration - emigration. Refers to how many children are born in a given time period. Number of people born per 1000 people in a population. If cbr =25 than 25 babies per 1000 people per year. In 2011, cbr of the world was 20, range 8-55. How many children on average a woman can expect to have in her lifetime given the current fertility rates. Because women can only conceive within a certain timespan(fecund years) Tfr = 2. 5 means the average woman will have 2. 5 children. A predictive measure that women of same age cohort will continue to have children at the same rate of same cohort in past.
