Problems and solutions about waste management: excessive packaging: Example: the apartment has no waste burning fees and no waste categories, so people usually put waste into the wrong place. Solutions: reusing goods, recycling, composting and mulching yard waste, household hazardous waste systems. 2004 tsunami recovery in indonesia: lack of knowledge: Eips are integrated self cycling industrial clusters that share and reuse waste and energy resources more efficiently and effectively than the participating factories would be able to do on their own. The success at kalundborg has yet to be reproduced in another eip.
