Guilford: the brick test - what can you use a brick for, divergent thinking - brainstorming list and an analyzing test, convergent thinking. Osborn: brainstorming, creative problem solving - foursight and productive. De bono: lateral thinking, six thinking hats. Person: expertise, genetics, practice, mood - music, time, fitness - increase endorphins helps you feel better, necessity. Place: change in environment - being outside, shower, weather, a good meal, long drives, comfy chairs, disneyworld, sound of water, stress/relaxed environment, sunsets/sunrises, resource availability, challenge. Product: opportunity - problem that is being solved, quantity is multiple purpose opportunity. Take something and find new purposes for it. Economies of scale and scope: adaptation - taking something used in one industry for a specific purpose and adapting i to your own purpose, innovation - something done from within.
