Radical democracy: everyone has a say in ethircal democracy. Why did atheiniancs come up with radical democracy: athens in the dark age. Athens was one of the early population of ancient greece. They claimed it because the land was so early to be established they felt almost to superiority. Mycenaean sites were destroyed, but the people still survived which led to the pride in the longevity of the land. Megara used to be the chief rival for athens in terms of trades and etc. Megara was better located for trade because it had better access to east and west. External influences are very significant in terms of foreign policy affected the internal policy. Polis is not a very geographical but rather a city that consists of citizens. This allowed for diverse proffessions but made life difficult because of competing factors. Olive groves: food, oil, heat, light, exported easily. Areopagus: court cases were held such as serious cases.
