Police and courts are not enforcing possession as a criminal act as much as they should be anymore. A lot of guns registered in the states and in canada, but states takes it to the next level. Need to protect myself and my family. Only going to make crime worse, and going to make terrorism worse. In america guns are seen as freedom and liberty. Criminal justice issue related to this, have a lot of money and power. The perspective that we choose is going to determine the questions that we ask, the methods that we use as researchers and its going to determine the answers that we expect to receive at the end of the day. The answers that we get are going to influence the measures that we take. You have a state who has the power to make a law and there is some type of punishment that goes along with the law.
