Includes: homicides, sexual assault(crime against the person); thefts, b & Es (property crimes ; illegal drug use (offenses that are wrong) Canadian criminal law: to be offended with criminal offense is to the crown (the jury), that the accuse person must have: Actus reus (to accuse the criminal act)(like the evidence)(they have to show that you committed that crime (action) Mens rea (idea of possessing a guilty mind) (the intention) (mind) Children cannot be convicted of a criminal offense (ages before 12)
