Competing for wealth, power, prestige and resources. The haves (bourgeoise) and the have nots (proletariats) According to marx, the poor become poorer and this class become larger. This inequality intensi es the con ict, the con ict creates the tension and the tension creates a revolution. So they propose equality of result which means that everyone is equal at the end of the day. Sees things such as racism and sexism as a major problem.
