Classical conditioning: a type of associative learning in which there repetitively occurs a stimuli-condition pairing. When the stimuli is presenting, a conditioned response in involuntarily displayed. Pavlov studied the digestive system of dogs by presenting them with meat. Dogs even drool to the sight of the person who feeds them and pavlov. The first study involved ringing a bell behind the dog just prior to placing the powder to make them salivate referred to this as (cid:498)psychic secretions(cid:499) meat powder in the dogs mouth.
