She lays out the connection between sex and gender first. 1 to 1 relationship (male with male gender and female with female gender. There is no mixing and matching 2 xx = feminine, xy masculinity. We all know what the characteristics are and what they mean. People can guess gender implications across lots of things. Partly people say heterosexuality is obviously natural because it necessary for reproduction, it"s different to say heterosexuality is necessary for reproduction when you mean heterosexual sex. Sexuality and taste , or language seems natural but we know it"s not. It doesn"t feel like a choice when you don"t like something. Sexuality is way more complicated, it"s a life style. In relation to marriage these things don"t seem natural, they seem unchosen but that doesn"t mean that it is.
