She is arrogant and thinks all criticism is misunderstanding, and thinks people who don"t agree with her is just wrong. You can be a radical feminist and not agree with mackinnon. Her work is difficult to approach because she assumes you know everything that she knows. She has no sence of history or culture, she blames violence against women on pornography which is a bizarre claim, its only existed after world two and violence against women has been around since militarism. The article has two main parts (the current view or difference view) gender equality involving sameness or differentness. Sex equality is an oxymoron and means different sameness. Women the same as men or different than men are two sides of the same coin. She gives a thumbnail sketch of the difference approach on pg: it is just a fact that men are this way and women are this way and they are different.
