Are there any restrictions to our liberties? each theory gets to decide this and notion of equality. Which theory does the best job of treating its citizens with the best form of respect and equal concern. Philosophy is less concerned with descriptive claims , more focused on normative claims (how things should be not how they are) Argument is a set of sentences, they are set on a premise. If the premises imply the conclusion the argument in question is a good one. If its is possible for the conclusion of the argument to false then it is not a good premise. An argument is deductive valid so long as the argument is such that the conclusion must be true if the premises are true.
