Its believed medieval times were so tough that parents didn"t care about their kids. Its hard to find evidence because they all play with everyday items that we wouldn"t think that they are toys: boy is adult at age 12 by the law, community policing= every male is responsible of everyone else. In renaissance culture, children came to hold a special position within society and were greatly valued: they were seen as the key to the future of the state"s survival, on an indiv. He wrote books about this: writings were popular for very long. Spiritualization of the family : the ideal prtestant child was taught to be pious, disciplined, obedient and teachable, martin luther king started the potestant relovution, protestant families emphasized original sin: over infant baptism.
