Social hierarchy slotted into the labour field did not exist. Trade a note on world trade and globalization . In 1500, most trade was local i. e. banks and trading money simply a place where two parties would sit down and negotiate the balance of money between them. Only high value goods silk; porcelain; spices; precious metals were carried great distances.
