Unit 2: climate change overview and impacts. Important to note that some change regardless of any action we take to reduce ghg emissions is inevitable. This is because of a time lag between emissions and impacts our past emissions mean that changes to the earth"s physical systems are already occurring and will continue to occur. These changes have and will affect social systems as well. Authors conclude that natural and human systems around the world have been impacted by climate change in recent years. We do not yet understand how greatly climate change has impacted these various sectors at present, and it may not be significant yet, but there"s reason to be very concerned about future impacts. The faster the temperature changes, the greater risk we face because it allows systems less time to adapt the only solution is to reduce the rate and magnitude of change.
