Wpath guidelines: diagnosis, capacity for informed consent, age of majority in given country, any significant medical or mental concerns are well-controlled. Male to female estrogen therapy and anti-androgens: oral, transdermal or injection. Female to male testosterone therapy: injections tend to work faster than transdermal. Mastectomy and creation of male chest: hormone therapy not required. Breast augmentation: hormone therapy recommended (not mandatory) 12 months prior. Any significant medical or mental concerns are well-controlled. 12 continuous months of hormone therapy: phalloplasty or vaginoplasty. 12 continuous months of living in gender role congruent with gender identity: straight men, not each other. Heterogeneous group of biological males sexually attracted to men (cid:498)in the manner of a woman(cid:499: concept of (cid:498)gay(cid:499) doesn"t exist. Don"t identify as men, but as fa"afafine: majority didn"t have negative feelings about genitals, played with girl toys and games significantly more than women, engaged in female behaviours significantly more than men, no evidence of distress.
