In the tenth unit of the course we are going to get talk a litle about sotware programming and how a piece of sotware comes to be. A piece of sotware goes through speciic stages. This is called the sotware development life cycle (sdlc). It starts with the ideniicaion of a problem. Once the problem is ideniied it is important to. /analyze the problem so that you can start to /design a soluion. Once the design has been thought out the /development can begin. Throughout the development there will be /tesing and then inally installaion. The last stage is /maintaining the sotware and regularly evaluaing it to improve it. The other part of this cycle is the program development life cycle (pdlc). This part of the cycle has 5 steps including the /problem statement, /algorithm development, /coding the program, /debugging and then inally /tesing the program.
