Client: is a computer that requests those resources. Client/server network: is a network that contains servers and client computers. Each node connects to a p2p network instead of having a separate device exercise control over the network: advantage: allows the data to flow more efficiently than a p2p network. The servers can respond to a large number of requests at the same time. Inconvenient to have these servers for more than 10 users. There is no centralized security so each user must protect their computer.
