A network can include any number of connected computers or devices. The largest network in the world is the internet itself: computer can share information over networks, a lot of the services we use today are the result of networking. Some networks have a central computer that manages and provides for the network, others are decentralized, with each computer on the network acting as both manager and client: networks need to be protected. If you have a wireless network in your home or a few connected devices then you might be responsible for your own network. This can be a large responsibility and knowing how to properly protect your network will help you protect your data and devices from hackers and viruses.
