Temperature and precipitation to vary latitudinally: more solar energy/m2 hits the earth at low latitudes, which creates higher temperature, warmer air can hold more moisture than cold air. Seasonality in precipitation: hadley cells shift based on how the sun hits the earth, which depends on the tilt of the earth. Tophat question: although montreal, quebec is at the same latitude as the lore valley in france, montreal is much colder then loire valley. Tophat question: in british columbia, both vancouver and kewlona are at the same latitude (49 n), but vancouver receives more precipitation than kewlona.
