Environmental opportunities: foraging, getting food right from nature, hunting and gathering as main source of food, horticulture, kind of like gardening, pastoralism, raising of herd animals, domesticating animals can also provide services like pulling wagons and plows, agriculture. Industrial: based on fossil fuel machinery, can go from small scale to massive scale as well. Many cultures mix these strategies together, as we do. Will o(cid:374)e"s e(cid:374)(cid:448)iro(cid:374)(cid:373)e(cid:374)t deter(cid:373)i(cid:374)e o(cid:374)e"s culture: an environment like the arctic can limit your options, or the desert for example, many are too hot or dry or cold. O(cid:374)e"s (cid:272)ulture takes o(cid:374) the shape of (cid:449)hat the e(cid:374)(cid:448)iro(cid:374)(cid:373)e(cid:374)t offers: cultural i(cid:374)dustrialis(cid:373) Carrying capacity: an ecosystem that can support a certain number of humans, and it can expand through its number of efforts.
