Nice house, family, lots of money, 2. 5 kids and a white picket fence. Amongst different people the idea of their good life is different unable to define precisely across the board what the good life is. It is not that you had it bad, you"re just pissed other people had it good . How should i exist in the world. Virtuous person = excellent in anything that they set out to do. Ethics = inaction how we treat others/interact with them. Morality is achieved despite character god helps us reach this (christian viewpoint) The unexamined life is not worth living socrates. Question everything until you don"t know anything. Is the pious loved by the gods because it is pious, or is it pious because it is loved by the gods? .
