Preventative: if children are given attention at the beginning stage, their brain is going to work better and result in overall wellness, also it saves further investment in criminal justice, crimes. Attention given to children during the early stage result in better cognitive development and direct increase in size of the brain as compared to children who were neglected. Epigenetics: dna quotes for physical traits and if they will be expressed. The kids can influence the environment, it"s not always the adults. Discontinuity: we don"t just get bigger and better. Continuity: nothing happens overnight, everything takes time and develop gradually. Plato: innate knowledge: born with a perspective and ideas. And knowledge is for betterment of society as a whole. but for individual betterment. Children were born evil: and they were born to take your life and have satanic power. Locke: blank slate, you can shape children"s mentality since they have no ideas or any knowledge.
