If corpus callosum is cut (experiment with cardboard divider and shapes) Left brain/right brain division = myth: two sides of the prefrontal cortex = emotional regulation, right side = anxious thoughts, overlapping ideas spiraling out of control. Rewarded for this in society: parasympathetic: rest and digest. Some exceptions when these neurons are involuntary (don"t reach brains, spinal cord makes decisions/parkinson"s disease) Sensory: take information from senses and transmit from sensory organs to brain. i. e. burn finger, taste food: motor: brain decides on movement/talking/etc. sends information from brain to, glial cells: organs.
