Business intelligence is a set of techni(cid:395)ues and tools fo(cid:396) the ac(cid:395)uisition and transformation of raw data into meaningful and usful information for business analysis purposes. Source systems: multiple areas where the data is collected. Siloing of data to help with decision. Not having all the data needed to understand decisions. Visualization: being able to view data quickly and easily. Intelligence exhibited by machines: artificial narrow intelligence( simple, such as playing chess, music, artificial general intelligence: smart as a human across the board, artificial super intelligence: better than human level.
