Personality influences how we think, how we make decisions and is a reflection of the needs we have. Amygdala is responsible for supplying the prefrontal cortex with stimuli. A person"s personality and self-concept affects his or her lifestyle. Our selling process must match their buying process. Want to understand personality to understand how they will react to the marketing mix and so we can understand their needs better. The unique psychological characteristics or makeup which consistently influence the way the person responds to their environment. Personality was created by different factors, i. e. astrology, genetics. A persons personality and self-concept affects his or her lifestyle. Consumers often buy products that either reflect or bolster their personalities and self-concept.
