Hypochondriasis: preoccupation with fears of having a serious illness, obsessed with thinking of the worst case scenario to match with their symptoms; can self-advocate for expensive tests and second opinions; repetitive behavior. Somatization: recurrent, multiple physical complaints that have no biological basis; happen under stress related situations. Pain disorder, hypochondriasis, somatization gone from the dsm-5; are(cid:374)(cid:859)t i(cid:373)porta(cid:374)t e(cid:374)ough for their own category, but part of somatic disorder.
