Lecture 9 finishing contracts the employment relationship. Court can only say if there is a contract: and only if there is will it interpret it. If there is no dispute then the contract will serve as a guidebook to our contractual relationship : details will help us organize our performance of our reciprocal duties. Courts will not create contracts where one does not exist. You are allowed to breach your contract. It is a civil matter not a criminal one. This is a private matter and does not have to go to court. If the parties agree to adjust, or amend, or walk away, the court does not care: parties making their own solutions do not create precedent. How to make sure there is a contract when you want one. How to organize it so the words mean what you want them to mean.
