Developed binominal nomenclature: first word = genus name, capitalized, second word = species name, lowercase. Class chordata contains the following classes; aves, mammalia, Order mammalia has the following orders; rodentia, primates, Family carnivora has the following families; canidae, felidae. Genus felidae has the following genus; felis, panthera. Dumb king philip came over for green soup.
