The technology to do this does exist, but is in its infancy. Adaptation climate change is occurring now and further change is inevitable. Adaptation means altering our economy and our lives to cope with those changes. Adaptation adjustments needed to cope with the changes brought about by climate change. Mitigation lessening the causes of climate change, or making the effects less severe. 3. explain the basic concept of climate stabilization wedges. Be able to identify the strategies represented by the wedges.
