In this essay i intend to argue that . Essay topic : in a 2 page paper please explain the significance/meaning of the red carpet in the first play in the trilogy. This play is poetry the greeks didn"t distinguish between poetry and drama. The athenians butchered the melians and killed all the men of fighting age and sold the women and children into slavery. When asked why they did this, they claimed that it was just the way natural law went because they were conquering them. Animals were put on the stand in the greek world. Animals can"t be punished: animals are seen as exclusively embedded in the physical world. We cannot talk to animals about the moral world. We can train them to not do stuff. We all have ways t evade responsibility i couldn"t help it . Greeks were fascinated by the lack of control of humans.
