Appropriate use of of academic sources (3 academic journal articles outside of the course material) Use of one or two recent newspaper articles (june 2015 - november 2015) Evidence of supported critical thought and analysis. In-group solidarity (they have friends that understand the dif culty of the job, cut of society because people don"t wanna be friends because they might be looked upon as criminals too) Moral ( buy into group values that are consistent ) Hyper vigilance ( more vigilant about surroundings, more vigilant about behaviour ) Secrecy ( police of cers legally can not tell what the case about) Stress of police work ( case les can be intimidating) Legal authority ( use force within reason) Only as much force as is necessary. Escalate only in response to escalating risk. One higher level of force than that they are confronted with.
