For example, in just 14 years, half of the population of the u. s. could access some form of mobile technology. But while the rapid diffusion of mobile infrastructures is important, it does not in itself constitute a shift in the nature of society. For our purposes, this involves exploring how the mobile revolution is (re)shaping our institutions, cultures and social relations.
