Although the google pixel bud is advertised as real time translation, it really isn"t. This becomes an issue when the pixel bud picks up on something it hasn"t heard before. Slang, accents and background noise are all inconsistent varying from person to person or place-to-place, therefore it is something that is not heard by the google. This allows for struggle to utilize the voice input and process the proper translation. That is if you are even able to use it, as it only works with the google pixel phone. The google pixel buds real time speech acts as a value chain activity as it adds value directly to the product or service in order to achieve a competitive advantage. Google is most likely trying to achieve an advantage over apple, as the two brands have been direct competitors over quite some time.
