Bias - systematic errors in collecting or interpreting data due to researcher influencing the results. Confirmation bias tendency to search for and interpret information that confirms ones preconceptions. Doesn"t prevent disease: prevention (health promotion (empowerment)) (taking controls cause we know the risk factors: coronary artery disease, lung cancer, stroke, copd, respiratory prevention) (change (individual) and awareness (health care provider) preventions: vaccines, holistic model: overall well-being.
