Island dwarism: restricted ecosystem, limited food resources, easily over exploited, so smaller bodies is a good thing, less likely to over exploit. Potenial predaion: large bodies is a response to defend itself, so no predators means they don"t need to evolve into a bigger body, posiive pressure to evolve smaller body. Material culture: it"s all the stuf we make and use, lithic technology (stone tools) Uncountable amount of stone tools on ground: wooden tools, animal hide objects, clothing. The combinaion and interacion of human biological evoluion and the evoluion of technology: canine teeth thing. Most organism just inherit geneically determined characterisics. Humans inherit important adapive traits though their genes and through social learning.
