QMS 102 Lecture Notes - Lecture 2: Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Frequency Distribution
Document Summary
The number of stems should be from 6 to 13. Te stem values should be consecutive numbers or repeat 1, 2, or 5 times. Don"t" have to be a single digit. The next single digit after the stem. How many leaves are on a stem. Relative frequency is the percent of how many of the data is. Cumulative frequency is adding the relative frequency at each box. A histogram is a vertical bar chart. Never allow space between the bars unless the data represents zero. A bar chart as spaces whereas a histogram does not. An ogive is a cumulative percentage polygon. The data is plotted at the right end of the intervals of an ogive. An ogive is also a graph of the cumulative relative frequency. It is useful for finding the proportion of data values between two values. The graph should not contain unnecessary adornments (sometimes referred to as chart junk)
