What is social psychology: the scienti c study of how individuals thoughts, feelings and behaviours are in uenced by other people for both good and bad, we often underestimate the impact of social in uence on our own and others behaviours. Fundamental attribution error (part of #3: attributions is the process of assigning causes to behaviour. And we underestimate the impact of situational in uences: things going on around us in uence us and we need to consider that. Normally we will do the opposite of our own behaviour: two components : 1. we assume people do things because of their personality 2. we assume they did something because they reacted that way to a situation. Other people affect how we 1) interpret events 2) feel about ourselves 3) how we behave. It can be yourself - you like yourself better than your past self and feel really good about it.
