When a group of people suffer more than other it correlates with socio-economic status, race religion; groups of people are marginalized. These groups do not share benefits we associate with an industrialized country, they bear more harm from those activity"s (money, jobs and lifestyle associated with the production) Gender and religion can be added to the definition. Everyone should have the right to participate in the decision making process around things like environmental hazards. There are communities we can identify, these groups are marginalized, should have the right in decision making. Civil rights movement by the us to allow citizens to basic rights for marginalized citizens. Living in a region that is susceptible to environmental health increases risks.
