Symmetry: body parts equally bilateral and relative propn. Centripetal (truncal) obesity, fat conc in face,n eck, trunk w/thin extremities (cushing synd) Rigid spine and neck, move as one unit (arthritis) Stiff, tense, ready to spring from chair, fidgety mvmts. Tripod: leaning forward with arms braced on chair arms, occurs w/chronic pulmonary disease.
