Benefits: allows individuals to take on large businesses. Self: you have the right to represent yourself (common in small claims courts) Lawyers: a professional individual who acts on your behalf. Professional liability insurance: allows a client to receive compensation from a lawyer"s insurance company if the lawyers acted carelessly.
