Woman, see a lot of sex, violence, patriotism. Candid portrait, see artist"s reflection, see the king and queen in a small mirror. Unimportant moment, important people are very small, only a reflection. Dutch baroque: art market was different, existed for the wealthy to decorate homes, economy was based on trade, more middle class. Not on commission, just made to sell. Early master, established style of dutch baroque.
