Paper is always better than plastic: depends. Clear cutting trees is always a bad thing. Every home and business has to have a trash can. Not going to be able to completely eliminate waste because there will always be some sort of waste: food packaging: gets food from point a to point b (protects it), inform the customer about the product. Linear economy can also be called cradle to grave . We need to keep in mind: what materials we are using. Are they new materials or recycled: where is it coming from, ink. Packaging waste is considered a major environmental concern due to its high visibility. Consumers research surveys reveal that the recyclability of packaging is a top-of-mind sustainability attribute. Is clear cutting always a bad thing: no. Clear cutting is not always a bad thing: mimics forest fires to mimic that natural occurrence of trees re-growing but in a more controlled way.
