Stages of team development: tuckman (midterm: forming. Formaliies are preserved and members are treated as strangers: storming. Conlict over tasks and ways of working as a team. Members start to communicate their feelings but sill vie themselves as indivuals rather than part of the team/ they resist control by group leaders and show hosility: norming. People feels parts of the team and realize that they can achieve work if they accept other viewpoints: performing. The team works in an open and trusing atmosphere where lexibility is the key and hierarchy: adjourning. Four types of teams: problem-solving, self-management, cross-funcional, virtual. Groups of employees from the same department who meet for a few hours each week to discuss ways of improving quality, eiency, and the work environment: quality circles.
