At ryerson there are endless ways to get this information including the ryerson website itself, facebook and my very own ryerson email can have special club announcements. I searched one co-curricular activity which stood out to me as the most interesting and that was ryerson toastmasters. Ryerson toastmasters is a large public speaking competitions where students have the opportunity to increase their oral communication skills, speech writing and the ability to be confident through speech. This struck me as an activity that could really take you out of your comfort zone and test your ability to write and think effectively outside the box. Secondly, i researched a student support service and found student learning support which is a group of services designed for students who need academic help or need to improve on their study habits. Some of the specific support areas include; english language support, math support, writing support and much more.
