We talked about the weird foods we eat, in our nature and how we are raised. The role of food, various functions the food performs aside from the obvious for nutrition. Finished talking about the role food plays in defining who we are, and the role of creating a contention of a group, and differenating that group from others. Every relgiigon has its own food traditions ; generally speaking foods that are reveried that are an important part of that cultural very often that religions disapproval with a varity of taboos. Major of religions have their own taboos Islam: has a strict rule related to foods that are allowed ; hala what is considered accepta(cid:271)le (cid:858) haram; not acceptable. Applies to meat kinds of meat that are acceptable. Halal and haramai the way the animal is slaughtered. Considered harama in on cultural is not for the other. Food differentiates other types of groups; aside from religious faith.
