Trudeau replied to his supporters tweets in a timely and individual manner to show he listened. Celebritization": using politicians" lives to engage with citizens and voters in a more personal and ideological way. Much of trudeau"s coverage on social media was driven by selfie moments. He posted short, funny videos that would allow videos to share and retweet. The video stood out because it was not like the typical advertisements that were attacking an opposing political party. He used live streaming on facebook to develop a more meaningful relationship with voters. Allowed voters to ask questions and be more interactive with trudeau.
